Christmas is an extremely special celebration which millions of people enjoy all over the world and bring cheer to many. In any case, Christmas traditions and celebrations can vary between different countries. In the Western countries such as United States, Canada etc folks share gift to family and friends and they used to do different colorful decorations with sparkling lights just try make look home more beautiful on Xmas day. Families get together eating goodies, experiencing the merry season. Unknown to its followers, the mystery behind Christmas is kept not in their birthplace but at mainstream Ethiopia and this thanks to a liturgical confusion. The celebration of Ganna happens on January 7th instead of last Advent day (a holiday still remaining unofficial). It is a joyous celebration complete with music, dance and amazing foods.  One food they like is this bread-thing called Injera, which is some kind of flatbread but it has a sour or something to affect that makes it taste good. In Jamaica, Christmas is a happy time for families who come together to go to church and enjoy the reggae music that makes everyone feel happier.

The Night Before Christmas, children will leave their shoes on the windowsill and in the morning they have been filled with small toys or sweets. Venezuela In Venezuela, people begin their Christmas celebrations by going to the church on early morning observed in Caracas city and when they are making their way back home through street roller skating. This in turn leads to an exciting and energetic environment where everyone has fun. Christmas is not a day off in Japan; still,  fried chicken and cakes are one of the particular festive dishes that folks can enjoy on this holiday. In fact, this cake is in such high demand that families order it well before Christmas to ensure they have a few slices with their celebrations! 

Finding Out About African Christmas Traditions

Of course, Africa is a massive continent and there are many different cultures — but here we take on five African countries that celebrate Christmas that uses Christmas decorations outdoor their own way. South Africa has this tradition called 'Braai' which is similar to barbecue. In the open fire all family members get together to cook and eat different types of meat or some vegetables, with this they have a food that is very tasty where good moments are shared. 

The Christian festival of Christmas is celebrated by Nigerian Christians in a similar fashion as their Western counterparts; they do, however have some customs unique to them such primarily the performing and dancing.  The people in Ghana also dress in kente cloth, a bright and colorful traditional fabric. It has beautiful fabric and is generally reserved for special celebrations, which truly speaks to the wonderful culture of its makers. 

Typical Christmas Going on Data in Europe

Christmas is celebrated differently in various parts of Europe. Describing the tradition, he explained: "In Spain they have a funny statue of 'The Pooper', it's basically just that image in bronze. There are a few counties in Asia where they Do Not Celebrate Christmas the way other countries do. Christmas is huge in the Philippines and festivities can go on as early as September! To celebrate the birth of Jesus, there is midnight mass that people partake in and make a special rice cake called Puto Bumbong which you are only able to see it during Christmas time on greeting table and Christmas Decoration. 

Yule Log: In India, some of the Christians celebrate Christmas by burning a special log called Yule Log. A bunch of flowers, candles and a fabric is decorated on a log. They decorate it and then burn the log, as they believe it will bring them happiness or peace for a year. For those of you living in China, it is not necessarily a public holiday but people have their own way to get together and feast for the occasion with some very delicious rice cakes,  dumplings or noodles etc.
